Floor finishing and refinishing are often used interchangeably, but there’s a subtle difference. Refinishing means we’re removing the old finish and applying a new one to existing hardwood.
Floor finishing can also refer to applying finish to newly installed unfinished hardwood. Either way, the process involves sanding, optional staining, and applying protective coats.
For most East Shoreham homeowners, we’re refinishing existing floors that have lost their luster over the years. The end result is the same – beautiful, protected hardwood that looks brand new.
